Online News Awards Honor ProPublica
Last night, the Online News Association honored ProPublica with its award for “general excellence” in the “small site” category. The judges said our Web site was “a vision of what journalism can be.”
ProPublica’s editor of news applications, Scott Klein, accepted the award on behalf of the entire Web team.
Additionally, ProPublica reporter A.C. Thompson was part of the team that won the Knight Public Service Award for the Chauncey Bailey Project, which investigated the murder of the former editor of the Oakland Post.
Check out all of the winners here. Congratulations to everyone.
