ProPublica Finalist for Online News Awards
Each year, the Online Journalism Awards recognize the best news Web sites. They look for innovation, great story-telling and the highest journalistic standards. Today, ProPublica was nominated for two awards.
The first nomination is for General Excellence in Online Journalism (small site) for our entire output over the past year. The second nomination is for our ChangeTracker tool, in the Outstanding Use of Digital Technologies category (small site). The award winners will be announced at the Online Journalism Awards Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 3 in San Francisco.
