ProPublica’s Paul Steiger at FTC Panel on Journalism
The Federal Trade Commission is convening a two-day workshop in Washington, beginning today, to consider the question “How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?”
We’re honored that the Commission asked ProPublica editor-in-chief Paul Steiger to be the lead-off presenter. Paul’s prepared remarks can be found here (PDF).
In addition, ProPublica senior editor Eric Umansky, one of the co-founders of Document Cloud, will be participating in a panel discussion at the workshop tomorrow on “reducing the costs of journalism.”
You can watch the workshop live via a Webcast, or follow it on Twitter. Here’s the schedule (PDF).
