ProPublica Wins Two NABJ Salute to Excellence Awards

The National Association of Black Journalists has named ProPublica the winner of two Salute to Excellence Awards.

“Segregation Now,” our in-depth look with The Atlantic at how schools have rapidly resegregated in the 60 years following Brown v. Board of Education, won in the digital category for interactive feature.

“Black America’s Invisible Crisis,” a co-published report with Essence on how thousands of Americans in high-violence neighborhoods have developed post-traumatic stress disorder, won in the magazine category for investigative reporting.
