Read the Pentagon’s New Rules for Military Trials
As a few folks have noticed, the Department of Defense on Tuesday released its Manual for Military Commissions, a 281-page tome that details the latest rules and procedures for military trials at Guantanamo Bay.
Those rules should come in handy today at pre-trial hearings at Gitmo for Omar Khadr. Khadr, a Canadian, was captured in Afghanistan as a teenager and is now facing murder and terrorism charges before a military commission.
