ProPublica’s New Tumblr: Officials Say the Darndest Things
At ProPublica, we're always following what officials say. Sometimes they mislead, sometimes they apologize, and you know, sometimes they just say the darndest things.
To commemorate those moments, we’ve started a Tumblr—a kind of super-simple blog—cataloging what officials in business and government (and any other centers of power) let slip. We're calling it, Officials Say the Darndest Things.
Please, send us quotes to include. And, if you’re on Tumblr, be sure to follow along and spread the smiles. We could all use a little more of that.

I agree with Erik.
I like the investigative journalism format. I think that’s plenty entertaining. There are plenty of other websites covering this area like Crooks and Liars, Talking Points Memo, and Huffington Post to name a few.

It’s just a small little piece of the internet that you need not pay attention to if you don’t like it. It may likely open up ProPublica to a whole new subset of readers they’re not already reaching. I say Kudos for not playing the holier-than-thou card.

Pete Stark didn’t just say the mother of all darndest things?
Your Mother Jones far-left bias is showing.
