How Democrats Fooled California’s Redistricting Commission

To get the districts they wanted, Democrats organized groups that said they represented communities, but really represented the party.

See me, I kick the Republicans all the time - hard - and let the Democrats off more or less.

Why?  Same reason why, were I trapped in a room with two snakes, I’d attempt to kill the Australian Eastern Brown snake before I went after the American Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake:  The former is both far more lethal and far more aggressive in its attempts to inflict suffering and death than the latter.  (lollll…in a curious coincidence, the geographical origin of media empires appears to correlate to their toxicity and aggressiveness, too.)

That may be the most valuable lesson the Army can teach:  You won’t be able to limit your casualties or ensure a lasting peace unless you take out the primary threat before you begin the mopping up/consolidation/rehabilitation/assimilation/rebuilding process.

The use of the terms of war may seem either affected or deranged, but the nation is in a state of war and the many in America are losing - which means democracy is losing.

Can’t have that - especially when the “honor” and “chivalry” we like to tell ourselves are facets of war are decidedly missing from the tactics used by the aggressors in this latest American civil war.

Take California:  Those who blame the Democrats for the state of California’s budget never seem to include that fact that it was Republican home builders and farm, factory, estate/lawn/garden owners who did the no-questions-asked-because-willful-ignorance-is-cheaper-and-so-more-profitable hiring that lured so many immigrants into California and consequently began skewing California’s economy by broadening that part of the tax base that did not, in fact, pay taxes but instead became a drain of tax revenues as those so often illegal immigrants did the human thing:  Sought to ensure the survival of both themselves and their families rather than fulfilling the role the Republicans prefer for “labor”.

For - if you did not know - the Republican goal is to force “labor” (be it the American people, or illegal immigrants lured by false promises) into the status of tools that can be used for profit and disposed of at their whim, particularly if those tools should wear out or break - but in any case, without any further maintenance expense.

They see you only as screwdriver…or chisel, should those the Republicans represent choose to use you so…regardless of the likelihood that you will fail under their hammer blows.  And if you cannot fulfill the role of tool at all…well, they dehumanize you into “entitlement spending”, and seek your destruction.

So it is simple, to me:  Defeat the Republicans, or condemn your children to being less than human.

What about PA??  Or isnt is news if it’s Republicans doing this dirty deed of redistricting to benefit there party?  Shame on you…I used to think you were a good source of unbiased information that the public is so sorely in need of, obviously, I was wrong.  Prove me right and do a story on What the PA Republicans did with redistricting and while you at it you mite want to look into the whole deal our Gov made with companies who are Drilling and Fracking natural gas but paying NOTING for it…and no regulations…its a BIG DEAL: and everyone outside of PA seems to be ignoring it..whats the deal with that??  Hope you get better soon.

Let’s face it. No republican’s vote in CA is going to mean anything. We have been diluted by illegal immigrant’s votes, dead voters & redistricting that makes my vote basically useless. Even though SJ county is fairly conservative, I’m stuck w/ liberals from the east bay that will make my vote null & void. This commission is a joke. It has just made voting a rather meaningless measure for any conservative in CA.

@Bulgaricus:  Such…earthshaking…accusations.  Can you provide proof?  The DOJ and…other…Federal agencies will investigate.

If you can provide proof.  Or even a hint of proof.

@Bulgaricus:  Apparently you’ll need pretty daggone good proof.  San Joaquin county has been Democrat since at least 2008:

Apparently that county (and San Bernardino, Ventura, and Stanislaus counties) is one of a number of places in the United States where a bunch of Republicans who finally figured out…the Republicans…switched to Democrat.
