I'm a senior editor for ProPublica. In additional working closely on our site, I've edited much of ProPublica's financial coverage, including our Pulitzer Prize-winning series about Wall St. Previously, I worked at Slate. I've also written, mostly on national security issues for The New York Times Magazine, Washington Post, The New Republic, and elsewhere. Earlier in my career, I was editor of MotherJones.com. I'm also the co-founder of Document Cloud.
