Pia Dangelmayer is a former Arthur F. Burns Fellow at ProPublica. She is a TV journalist for the worldâs second largest public broadcaster â the ARD in Germany, where she works for the investigative political TV program âreport München,â among others. She is a passionate investigator with a focus on societal and political matters. Pia has covered stories in the U.S. about the death penalty, right-wing extremism and GMOs, some of them prize-winning. She started her professional training at the Bavarian public broadcaster BR in Munich. Pia obtained a journalism scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation and has studied in Heidelberg, Paris and Munich. She has a master of arts in politics, French and psychology.
