Infrastructure Spending in Stimulus Bill vs Unemployment Rate

ProPublica analyzed proposed transportation and infrastructure funding in the House Democrats’ version of the stimulus bill, comparing per capita spending by state to each state’s unemployment rate. With the exception of Alaska, the analysis suggest that less spending is targeted at states with higher unemployment.
