Spending under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has passed $237 billion, or 30 percent of the total, according to the latest government figures. According to Recovery.gov, federal agencies have spent over $145 billion. Meanwhile, the Office of Tax Analysis, a division of the Treasury Department, reports that $92.8 billion in tax relief had gone out the door as of the end of October.
