Stephanie Little joined ProPublica in March 2016 as Director of Finance and Human Resources, became Vice President of Finance and Administration in 2018, and later became Chief Financial and Administrative Officer in 2022. In this role, she oversees all financial activities for the organization, including financial planning, investment strategy, accounting and analysis. She also leads organization wide administrative and compliance processes in addition to directing human resources policy and benefits administration.
Little began her career with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions prior to relocating to New York City, where she began to recognize her passion for non-profit, mission driven work. Her career has spanned such prestigious organizations as The Metropolitan Opera and The New York Times. She holds an MBA in finance and media studies from Fordham University and was named a 92Y Women in Power Fellow in 2018.
