Texas is the deadliest state in the country for construction workers: One dies every 2.5 days. A new study out by a workers' advocate group blames the state's lack of regulations and enforcement, reports the Texas Observer, which also notes that Texas has the second-lowest number of OSHA inspectors in the nation.

Also, Eli Lilly pushed doctors to prescribe an antipsychotic drug to elderly patients with dementia, even though it had evidence that it wouldn't work, according to company documents reviewed by Bloomberg News. A company spokeswoman said: "Plaintiffs are releasing one-sided, cherry-picked documents."
