The Organizational Chart for Iraq's Reconstruction

One of the major criticisms from the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) is that the post-war phase was stifled by a convoluted command structure. "The lack of executive authority was everywhere apparent," the SIGIR's report, Hard Lessons states. There were at least 62 agencies or sub-agency offices involved in the reconstruction, according to the report.
