I’m on the other side of the world at the moment.  Will it be possible to watch the event online tomorrow or is it only streaming live?

Love this auditorium and love Ira…bring it on!!!
(from Toronto)

Where is the video window?  I can’t see anything

It’s 7:07pm how come I can’t hear or see anything?

I would also like the opportunity to watch this online after the fact ... I live in the Mountain West time zone and this webinar falls smack dab in my commute home—and my deadline to collect my son from day care.

Any idea why I can’t see the feed yet?

Stream not visible in chrome, it is working in firefox

i figured it out—at least for me. i was using chrome. use firefox!!!

must be first time jitters

it’s the link on the top.. “ProPublica is hosting its first live event” but the traffic is so heavy it just keeps on spinning

yeah IE 8.0 won’t display it for me.. Safari works!

Give Raney a mike and some visibility! Can’t see her, and her mike is sick.

can’t hear the frontline person on the webcast

Why isn’t the woman speaker on the left side not well mic’d? Creates a poor quality to overall video. Cmon guys, you’re a communications firm! Tech 101. Mic her up better.
Otherwise, this forum very good. Thx.

I believe that there is so much excellent long form content being produced independently today, but there are fewer and fewer ways to monetize it. What do you foresee in the future as a sustainable portal for this important storytelling.

Tired of Being a Charity Journalist

My question for the panel: How does one learn the craft of long-form journalism, short of teaming up with John McPhee?

Wow, this was fantastic, thanks for the live broadcast

Thanks for the panel + webcast! Looking forward to similar ProPublica events in future.
