Lilia Chang is a news applications fellow at ProPublica. Lilia is a rising senior at Stanford University, where she studies mathematical and computational sciences. She has previously worked as a software engineering intern at Facebook and on the interactive news team at The New York Times’ D.C. bureau. At the Times, she worked on stories related to social media and the upcoming 2018 elections, including an analysis predicting the rise of Democratic candidates running in 2018. Lilia comes to ProPublica as a part of the Stanford Rebele Internship program.
