Setareh Baig is a design fellow for ProPublica’s Local Reporting Network.Before joining ProPublica, she produced BuzzFeed’s news podcast, “Reporting to You.” She recently completed her master's thesis at NYU's Studio 20 program, in collaboration with The New Yorker, The Intercept and the analytics service Parse.ly, where she studied personalization for news content while prioritizing audience privacy.
