U.S. soldiers tell KHOU in Houston that they often weren’t given enough water to drink while patrolling areas in Iraq where temperatures reached 130 degrees. At times, they resorted to stealing bottled water from civilian contractors to survive. The Multi-National Force in Iraq said, “Commanders at all levels do their utmost to provide the necessary resources required to sustain the force.”
Also, officials at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York knew about AIG’s planned bonus payouts five months before they prompted explosive public outrage in mid-March, reports the Washington Post. To deal with the expected fallout, New York Fed officials conferred with “outside lawyers, auditors and public relations firms”—but didn’t alert the Obama administration until the end of February.

I give praise and feel sorry what our soldiers have, and still are, going through. They deserve all our thanks and should forever be proud of who they are and what they stand for.
Everyone back home doesn’t get to see the real hardships the soldiers endure, and live in our plastic wasteful cocoons. Wake up america, and speak out, and treat you sons and daughters with the respect and admiration they deserve.
