Newseum to Host Talk with ProPublica and PBS Frontline Reporters on New ‘Terror in Little Saigon’ Investigation on Slain American Journalists

NEW YORK – November 6, 2015 – In the latest ProPublica investigation, Terror in Little Saigon, reporter A.C. Thompson uncovers the reign of terror that led to the assassination of five Vietnamese-American journalists during the 1980s and the intimidation of countless more. Also the subject of a PBS Frontline documentary, the project took Thompson to Southeast Asia and across the United States – ultimately leading to a network of former South Vietnamese military leaders operating within the U.S.

On Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2:30 p.m., the Newseum will feature Thompson and Frontline contributing producer Tony Nguyen as part of their Inside Media series. The event, free with Newseum admission, will detail their relentless reporting and shocking discoveries into one of America’s most significant unsolved terror cases.

  • When: Nov. 7, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: The Newseum, Knight TV Studio, 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001
