NABJ Salute to Excellence Awards, Finalists

The National Association of Black Journalists named two ProPublica projects as finalists for the Salute to Excellence Awards:

“Uprooted,” a project of ProPublica’s Local Reporting Network in collaboration with the Virginia Center for Investigative Journalism at WHRO is a finalist in the Digital Media - Online Project: News category.

"How a Grad Student Uncovered the Largest Known Slave Auction in the U.S.," is a finalist in the Digital Media - Single Story: Feature category
