Arizona Daily Star and ProPublica: Sharing Our Stories With You Through a Virtual Event

In partnership with Arizona Daily Star.

Reporters from the Arizona Daily Star and ProPublica wrote stories this year about how Arizona helps people with developmental disabilities. Some people did not get the help they needed. We want to share these stories with you. We want to hear your stories too.

Join us for a virtual event on Dec. 16. This event is for everyone. You can invite:

  • Friends
  • Family
  • Co-workers
  • Anyone else you want

Speakers at the event will be:

  • People whom we wrote about in our stories. They will talk about what happened when they tried to get help from the state of Arizona. They will also talk about working with reporters.
  • Artists who created the pictures for the stories. They are from Make Studio in Baltimore and the Arizona Daily Star.
  • Reporters from the Arizona Daily Star and ProPublica

You will need to download Zoom for this event. You can use your phone or computer. The event will include captioning and a certified American Sign Language interpreter.

Tell us your story any time by clicking here. You can also text or call a journalist during the event at 520-329-7530.
