ProPublica Illinois is seeking a self-motivated and well-organized individual to join our staff as a part-time office assistant. The office assistant will work closely with our nonprofit newsroom team to establish and maintain an efficient, smooth-running operation at our Chicago office and coordinate with administrative staff at our headquarters in NY. This is an hourly part-time position, ranging from 15 to 20 hours a week, generally during regular business hours but with flexibility for our organizational needs and your schedule. Pay is $20 per hour and does not include benefits.
