ProPublica’s short-form investigative video work is a finalist in the Medium Newsroom category for Excellence in Social Media Engagement.
“The U.S. Never Banned Asbestos. These Workers Are Paying the Price,” a collaboration with NPR News, is a finalist in the Large Newsroom category for the 3M Truth in Science Award.
“A Uranium Ghost Town in the Making” is a finalist in three categories: 3M Truth in Science Award, Small/Medium Newsroom; Digital Video Storytelling, Series, Small/Medium Newsroom; and Excellence and Innovation in Visual Digital Storytelling, Medium Newsroom.
“‘God, No, Not Another Case.’ COVID-Related Stillbirths Didn’t Have to Happen” is a finalist in the Small/Medium Newsroom category for the 3M Truth in Science Award.
“Roots of an Outbreak” is a finalist in the Small/Medium Newsroom category for the 3M Truth in Science Award and the Small/Medium Newsroom category for the University of Florida Award in Investigative Data Journalism.
“Wy-Kan-Ush-Pum (Salmon People): A Native Fishing Family’s Fight to Preserve a Way of Life,” a collaboration with Oregon Public Broadcasting through ProPublica’s Local Reporting Network, is a finalist in the Large Newsroom category for Digital Video Storytelling, Long Form.
“Meet the Woman Fighting for the Rights of Voters Who Can’t Read” is a finalist in the Small/Medium Newsroom category for Digital Video Storytelling, Medium Form.
“Railroaded,” a collaboration with Gray TV/InvestigateTV, is a finalist for Excellence in Collaboration and Partnerships.
“Doctors Warned Her Pregnancy Could Kill Her, Then Tennessee Outlawed Abortion” is a finalist in the Single Story category for Excellence in Social Justice Reporting.
“How Google Uses Secrecy, Market Dominance and Connections to Rule Tech” and “Human Trafficking’s Newest Abuse: Forcing Victims into Cyberscamming” are finalists in the Small/Medium Newsroom category for Excellence in Technology Reporting.
“The Repatriation Project” is a finalist in the Medium Newsroom category for Explanatory Reporting and in the Medium Newsroom category for Topical Reporting: Race, Ethnicity, Gender and Identity.
“Words of Conviction: Tracing a Junk Science Through the Justice System” is a finalist in the Medium Newsroom category Explanatory Reporting and in the Medium Newsroom category for the Al Neuharth Innovation in Investigative Journalism Award.
“Death on a Dairy Farm” is a finalist in the Feature, Medium Newsroom category.
“Collecting the Receipts Communities Can Use,” a collaboration with Oregon Public Broadcasting and NBC News, is a finalist in the Medium/Large Newsroom category for the Gather Award in Community-Centered Journalism.

“Nowhere to Go,” a collaboration with Searchlight New Mexico through ProPublica’s Local Reporting Network, is a finalist in the Small Newsroom category for the Al Neuharth Innovation in Investigative Journalism Award.
“Overpolicing Parents: How America’s CPS Dragnet Ensnares Families,” a collaboration with NBC News, is a finalist in the Large Newsroom category for Topical Reporting: Race, Ethnicity, Gender and Identity, and in the Large Newsroom category for the University of Florida Award in Investigative Data Journalism.
