What I Cover
I cover the worlds of finance, business and their regulators and how capital becomes power and vice versa. I look at how what’s happening on Wall Street, in Washington and inside global corporations shapes our lives.
My Background
Prior to ProPublica, I spent seven years at The Wall Street Journal, where I covered the auto industry and financial crime before joining the investigations team. My reporting has won awards from the New York Press Club and the National Press Club, and has three times been a finalist for a Gerald Loeb Award. I also reported and hosted a season of “Bad Bets,” the Journal’s flagship narrative podcast on financial crime. I attended the City University of New York and McGill University.
