My Background
Prior to joining ProPublica in 2021, I coordinated community programs and professional development opportunities for members of the Chicago Literacy Alliance, the country’s first shared nonprofit workspace dedicated to literacy. I also was a fellow for the Obama Foundation Community Leadership Corps, where I participated in a bootcamp that trains individuals to strengthen their communities through dialogue, collaboration and relationship-building. I am a graduate of DePaul University and am a South Side Chicago native.
