Voting Machine Breakdowns a Non-Partisan Problem

The Los Angeles Times reports mechanical and paper-ballot problems from East to Midwest. (Itâs still early in West.) The McCain campaign has sent us a Philadelphia NBC affiliate story recounting the same sorts of vote-casting problems in that closely watched state. Brad Friedman, author of the eponymous, left-leaning blog, criticizes the Democrats for not taking more aggressive action on technology problems and paper ballot-shortages.
